The processional order is done so that the groom is up front waiting for the rest of the bridal party entrance, then the groomsmen and bridesmaid enter (whether individually or as couples). The Maid of Honor and Best Man are the last to go down the aisle if entering as couples. If not as couples, the Best Man is the last of the men to walk down and the Maid of Honor is the last of the women to walk down. After the bridal party has reached the end of the aisle, then the ring bearer enters and then the flower girl. There is a pause and then our Bride walks down the aisle.
This is how the bridal party will line up at the end of the aisle:
Groomsmen usually form a diagonal line, with the first groomsman taking his place farthest from the groom. Bridesmaids do the same on the bride’s side. The flower girl and the ring bearer stand just in front of the guests.
When the bride reaches the front, she, the groom and the bridal party turn toward the officiant. I, the officiant prefer to stand with my back to the guests so that they have a full view of our lovely couple and their bridal party.
